For many years, the P&C has been providing opportunities for students to perform as soloists in a concert series called ‘Soloist Concerts’.
The P&C Soloist Concert series provides students with the opportunity to perform a repertoire of their choice for an audience of their peers, family and friends. The concert dates for each year group are publicised on the school calendar and on the P&C website at the start of the school year. Information regarding the online application process is emailed to students one month prior to their designated concert date.
For students who prefer not to perform solo, they may choose to perform a duet or trio with their classmates. For those who require accompaniment, the P&C funds an accompanist, details of which are provided to students once they have registered.
The concerts are held on Friday evenings, commencing at 6.30pm in the Joseph Post Auditorium located within the school. Before each concert there is a rehearsal in the venue, with dinner provided by the P&C. There is no cost involved for performers or for audience members.
