Year 8 Cantata 18th May 2013

Thanks everyone for your very fine efforts today – the cafe has never had such a delicious array of baked treats! Lemon meringue pie, chocolate fudge cake, chocolate muffins, friands, apple cake, rocky road, chocolate cookies – fabulous!

Despite the fact that very few people seemed to actually want to sample any of our delicious baked treats (and many were left over), and despite the fact that things seemed very slow all day (and I was fearful that we were running at a loss), we made an astounding $570.00 (or so – I have to recount it in the morning when I have more time and energy). About $230 was made through the sterling efforts of Val and Angel on the barbecue!

Thanks everyone for all your time and effort – despite our concerns, it all paid off!
