Year 9 – October 19th

A surprisingly good day, with 14 rooms booked for AMEB exams & extra people coming in for the Con production of “The Marriage of Figaro”. Had we known this was going to be on, we would have been prepared with more sandwich ingredients, which we ran out of.   Thanks to Alex and Natalie (especially) for staying on with Kevin & Zhan until about 1.30 when Jane got back.  Kevin took on the coffee machine (for the first time) with great finesse.

With our small team of 3 adult helpers in the morning, & 3 in the afternoon, we did not run the BBQ, but still took $790, selling:

Orange & poppyseed butter cake

Brownies

Biscuits (packaged in cellophane bags)

Decorated cupcakes – lemon & chocolate

Cookies – chocolate & choc chip

Marshmallows (in cellophane bags)

Gluten-free chocolate cookies (purchased)

Bananas & apples

Sushi packs

Savoury biscuits

Toasted cheese & tomato sandwiches

Alexandra’s sandwich suggestions proved very popular, with fillings such as:

ham, cheese & salad

egg, lettuce and mayonnaise

tuna with chopped celery, red onion and mayonnaise

The bright tablecloths looked great with the red chairs!
