We had a great turnout of parents and students.
The food was absolutely delicious and after we’d eaten, James, the restaurateur, took of the microphone…
He called up the Year 7’s, congratulated them and welcomed them to our community.
Next Linda and James drew the raffle.
And then the dancing began, with the Year 7’s leading the way…
Our lovely office ladies then helped show us how to have a great time… We have come to realise that they work at a music school because they love to dance…
We love them that little bit more now… Even Robert couldn’t hold back when he saw them take to the floor… He was ably accompanied by the considerably talented hoofwork of Maddy (middle name Macarena), one of the music tutors and co-ordinators at the school.
Richard Fowler can never pass up an opportunity for some musical theatre and threw himself into the melee with gusto and style…
The dancing frenzy continued into the night…
The classiest dancer of them all was Panayoti from Year 12. Wow!!
Richard Fowler and Tim could not contain themselves… They took up the challenge and we followed them back to the floor for one last swing.
Thanks so much to you James, and to Linda, for making the beginning of the school year such a memorable and fun night for all of us. What a wonderful start to the year!
